try entering BIOS just once and doing nothing ...press f10 and save....exit.
sometimes, not always this helps the puter recognize the memory. If that
fails..check the memory speed..see if its compatible with the system or other
RAM you have installed. If the system does not see it, its not using it. then
it may be a bad memory module. there are small programs that can ck memory
very easily. good luck
