I know this is probably not the right group so perhaps some one can answer
the question or direct me where to go.
I have an HP 7550 printer and a SanDisk Memory Stick PRO in 256mb. When I
stick it into the card reader on the printer or a card reader for the
computer I get an error message on the printer and nothing happens on the
computer reader. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

What is the error message?

The following article targets the Sony Memory Stick
but it may also apply to the SanDisk Memory Stick.

John,

it says "card access error." It was already formatted for the Sony camera
without using the computer

Thanks John.

I'm going to try to contact HP and see if they have a solution. Probably a
new printer..

Let us know what happens.

I wonder if a Sony Memory Stick would be any better?

And there's always the possibility that formatting the
memory stick in the camera might improve the situation.
