I have a question regarding the Memory Size the Image boots into. If I
generated the image for a 3.5Gb memory size, will
all memory sizes under 3.5 Gb work? Or must the Target always have as much
memory as the Image was built for?
Why I am asking is I generated an image for a 1Gb memory system. I have
tested successfully a 1GB and 512Mb system without
any problem. This was done by just removing (1 )512mb memory Dimm. The
Motherboard of the system can take up to 4Gb of memory.
So if some of my system configurations could be different memory depending
on the customer requirements. Is this possible or must
I regenerate the Image for each machine with a different memory size than
the standard 1Gb configuration?
