I presently have (1) 512 MB card installed on my XP
Professional software.
This was a new install.
After the new install, I tried to install an additional
512 memory card by Kingston.
Each time I install the second card, the computer goes
crazy at times and it also shows only 768 MB of memory
instead of 1024.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing this problem
and what I can do to fix it.
Thanks,

Please repost with brand and model of motherboard? Have you read the MB
instruction manual to determine if you have purchased the correct speed,
voltage, etc of memory for your MB? Does the computer work OK with the
new chip installed and the old one removed?

Reply to these questions and the ng readers may be able to help you.
