My computer has been saying low on memory lately and I
have no clue why. I have 120 GB memory and should have
plenty left. I checked my C Drive memory and it says I am
running FAT32 and only have 15.9 GBs of memory. I know
nothing about computers really and any help is
appreciated.

Hard drive capacity and system ram memory are not the same. Buy a beginners
book on computers. Jym

Hi,

Pls go to the following website for virtual memory
management:

http://aumha.org/a/xpvm.htm

Let windows manage the virtual memory:
Right click "My Computer", click property, click
the "Advance" tab, click the "setting" button in the
Performance area, click the "Advance" tab, in the Virtual
Memory area, click the "change" button, select "system
manage" then click apply and confirm.

For the other free space on your harddisk, right click
on "My Computer", click "manage", in the left pane,
click "disk management", in the lower portion of the
right pane, right click on the "free space on harddisk"
and select partition and format. You can format the
partition in FAT32 or NTFS. There is no size limit on
NTFS but it is limited to 32 GB for FAT32.

Hope it helps.

Peter
