Has anyone noticed that memory prices seem to have dropped recently? It's around £20 for 512MB at quite a few places, and good 2GB stuff for under £90.

When did this all happen  Last time I looked a few months ago it was twice this price I'm sure?

Ian, prices always go up just before Christmas & seem to fall 2 months later, strange that.;)

You're right Ian, i am looking for 1Gb of RAM for my Sony laptop, and always check Crucial for prices, it was £90 before and shortly after Christmas, it's now £60!!!! :-) WOO!!

The memory listed in my sig cost about £190.00 in early December, now it's about £140.00

I shall remember this next time I upgrade... ;)

the memory in my current rig is £10 more than when i got it in August

flash memory on the other hand is dirt cheap, 2GB USB drive for £22
