I'm no testing FreeRAM XPpro

It seems it makes more problem then it solves.

Are there any relly good programs for memory and swapfile management?

Generally these programs cause more problems then they fix. I have had good
results with Cacheman and Windows 98 and XP. Technically this is not
Freeware but is not limited in any way if you don't register:

A word of caution. I have only used it to customize various memory/swapfile
settings as it's much easier than editing the registry. I have never used
the memory recovery feature (I always disable it right off). You will need
to use it's monitoring functions to see how you system behaves under normal
and extreme loads and make adjustments as necessary. It has a great wizard
and help files. Also there is now a version specifically for XP but you must
register to get all the features:
