Memory leak in FS9

I recently thought I had the problem solved. I removed all empty Textue
folders and for a few flights all was well. I was just flying for two hours
when I got another OOM message, along with another window appeared saying
The header said "fs9.exe APPLICATION ERROR"

'The instruction at "0x7c14f0e7" at referanced memory at "0x0000001c". The
memory could not be "read"

Does anyone know what this means? I'm running 2.5 gb's of memory so there's
more than enough. Something is leaking memory.

Thanks.

Hi dfish,

What mixture of RAM are you combining to add up to 2.5 Gig?
Perhaps if you have a 500 MB stick it's mismatched and causing the issue..
You may want to test the game with only 2 Gig of RAM.

I've had that problem before I upgraded the Ram. Something in FS9 is causing
the memory leak. I thought that error message might point me to the culprit.

Yo D,
as you know, fs9 has a zillion add-ons, planes, skins, liveries,
textures, etc.
All of them can't be perfect, either with actual content or
installation procedure.
Do you remember what all was loaded before you had this problem?

Usually, when I end up with strange problems, I re-install, then fly
and check out any problems, one add-on at a time. Did this problem
occur after, for instance, you added something new?
Hope you get it sorted,

Yo D,
your header DID say fs9.exe, so I would assume that is your culprit.
There are some updates that modify your fs9.exe. Did you use any of
those, like the automatic updater?
Download may have been corrupt, and might need to be downloaded again.
I would just try and remember what was installed the last time it
worked correctly, then try to check anything I installed after that.

I've gone through and deleted all the sceneries I've added over the last few
months and Ill see if that helps. There must be a corrupt .BGL file somewere.
