In my Motherboard (Asrock? 2003?) manual, it says this for memory:
3 slots for DDR: DIMM1, DIMM2, DIMM3
I currently have a a PC 2700 (DDR 333) in DIMM1 - one slot used up.
I can't figure out if I can install more memory in the system - I do
have 2 slots free, but the manual says:
PC1600/PC2100 for 3 DDR DIMM slots, max 3GB
PC2700 for 2 DDR DIMM slots, Max 2 GB
PC 3200 for 1 DDR DIMM slot, Max 1 GB
Does this mean that if I cannot use third slot if I have a PC2700
setup in DIMM1?
Thanks in advance for any explanation!
I would like to insert a 1G DIMM in DIMM2 - not sure if I can do that
(I have a 512MB PC 2700 filling slot 1 - DIMM1).
