Hi Joe,
Did you allow the Help & Support Remote access ?
Try to disable the firewall for this session ( this session only, please
Renable after this).

Why you don't just uninstall it and then reinstall it from scratch?

Look in the event viewer for a complete verbatim of the error and does it
occur only when the Help and support personal connect or with other apps?
HTH,
nass

Good to here from you nass. I did check Help & Support Remote and is Started.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Kodak program so many times I should
install it with a zipper ;-).
I do notice that there are additional error numbers: 0x07ef0068 & 0x05730068

Hi Joe,

We need the exact verbatim of the error message Joe!

Open a Notepad, customize or minimize to the taskbar as you will need it
later for this step to copy the error message on it.
Open a run command and type in:
eventvwr.msc click [OK] you will get the Event viewer control Panel.
click on each of these:
Application
System
Security
Look in the right Pane/window for error message with red (X) or Yellow
exclamation mark /!\ , double click each one to get more info about the
causer.
On the Event error properties message you will see:
Up Arrow
Down arrow
Two pages
Click on the two pages to copy the error message then bring up the Notepad
you opened earlier and right click on the first line and select Paste from
the list, this will paste the error message on a Notepad.
Please don't duplicate the error message one of each kind will be sufficient.
HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

Please we need just the error messages with Red (X) and don't repeat the
error, just one of each kind and post them back in your next post.

This is what the error message said:

IEXPLORER.EXE - Application Error

The instructions at 0x04450068 referenced memory at 0x04450068.
The memory could not be written.

OK to Terminate

Also, the numbers seem to be changing. I can't test anymore because the tech
went home and shut down the sessions request.

nass,
Also, I don't know if it makes any difference but the error message seems to
pop up about the same time the "Yellow" bar pops up in Internet Explorer. It
said something about allowing an ActiveX be downloaded. The error message
locks up IE8 and I have to use Task Manager to close it.

nass,
Thank you for all your hard work. I went through all of the sites and fixes
you recommended.
I did find an allow/not allow on my Linksys Router for UPnP and switched it
to allow.
I also removed the peer-2-peer check mark in the Add or Remove Windows
Components.
But, because I have to reopen an session with Kodak, it may have to wait a
couple of
days.
I did look in the registration for the key mentioned in "tcpip6" after I
removed the check
mark from the peer-2-peer. I could not find the "IPV6-Global\SearchOnly=1".
