I have just bought a 64 bit PC running the 64 Bit version of Vista with 4gig
of RAM.
In the task manager there shows under Physicial Memory(MB)
Total 3325
Cached 2440
Free 10

Can someone with superior knowledge please explain these figures to me? What
happened to the remainder of the 4 gig?

Thanks

Patrick

3325 sure sounds like you're actually running 32-bit Vista. How do you
know you're running the 64-bit version? Right-click "Computer" and
choose "Properties." What does it say there under "System Type"?

Thanks for the input. I have sent the maker, Mesh, a mail and await their
reply, if any.

No problem. I have e-mailed the manufacturer to see what they say. In the
real world I find that most people have no idea about Vista or its inner
workings and 64 bit is also a mystery to most people. It's good that people
such as yourself take an interest.

Thanks

Does the computer have an onboard video card sharing memory with the
