hi,

the memory consumtion is in my opinion far to high.

about
11,5 MB for gcasDtServ.exe
and
4 MB for gcasServ.exe

4 MB is ok for background taks but ~15,5 MB...

They should work on this also!

The Programm itself seems to be working.

Greetings,
Devildago

Where are you getting your figures? Are they consumption or allocations?

Hope this helps.

I have experienced humongous memory usage with MSAS, on my system,
gcasDTServ.exe can use as much as 300MB's. Should be solved by beta 2.

from taskmanager.
now after ~3hours uptime:

gcasDtServ.exe 11.148 kByte
gcasServ.exe 7.052 kByte

I guess my messages are getting thrown away. I'll just post
another one anyway.

People, run to your nearest download center and get
Firefox. It works great and doesn't get hit by malware,
spyware, etc. Maybe MS will get the message if enough
people try something else. Remember what happened with
Netscape a few years back.

Hopefully this message will not get deleted by the powers
that be.

ahem, sorry but spyware can be one every computer. Doesn't matter which
Browser the user uses. In the end it doesn't realy matter which OS is on the
computer...
And if the user is so careles and is click on ever OK button he sees to "get
it free"....
Yes FF has some nice features and so on and bring activity on the browser
market! I have it also running, but my "main browser" is IE and OE for mail.
FF is installed for testing.

greetings,
devildago
