Memorizing passwords

Windows XP used to offer to memorize passwords.

Suddenly, it doesn't do that (ie: ask). How can I get it to do this?

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Content tab, click the AutoComplete button, place a check next to "Prompt me
to save passwords."
