Hi Folks,

when I try to export a memo-field that contains one or more of the delimiter
for the textfields into a text (csv) file, the memo-field ist truncated by
512 chars.
The delimiter chars in the memo filed are doubled correct in the assistent
dialogs.
Thanks for every reply ;-)

Thanks again for your support

I have come against this problem just recently. I did not realise that the
problem was due to having the same character (") as the textdelimiter in the
memo field. Thanks for that information. I have tested using a different
textdelimiter (^) and none of the fields were truncated.

This problem only occurs in Access 2007 but not earlier versions. Why would
Microsoft change the "standard" or is it a bug in the export program?

This will cause me a great deal of problems as my customers upgrade to
Office 2007.

Thanks for your post Willi since I could not find any mention of this
problem in other Microsoft sites/forums or Google.
