memo data type

In form view, I can not see all the character's I type in a memo data type
box. I have located a scroll bar to help expand the viewing range if needed;
however the characters stop (probably at the 255 mark). I am sure that it is
specified as a memo data type. I also know that all of the characters are
registering because I can merge them into other documents and they are
visible. I just can not see them when I enter the data.
 
Do you have a Format or Input Mask set for the field? If so, get rid of it.
