membership web site

I've been publishing web sites for years using FrontPage and I've been pretty
happy. I don't have time to learn programming but I would like to expand my
experience.

I would like to make my wed site data-driven where some approved people in
our club could add a story with a photo or a logo and have it appear without
using web publishing software. (I would need to approve posts) I would also
like our club members to be able to log on and edit their own info (profile)
which I would have to approve also.

what is my best option?
 
This Club Starter Kit [1] is about as close as you might get with a
solution-in-a-can and it still needs a fair amount of customization to meet
personalized objectives. Note it is ASP.NET which can also be used to build
membership sites from scratch which I'm doing right now. It is an amazing
development model which requires very little to no code but lots of
understanding what to do and where. Then there's coding required to
customize as usual. These are your Microsoft platforms solutions for
membership unless to go to older and lessor solutions from 3rd parties.
