I have an w2000 pro, that are connectet to an group in
microsoft network. It is not shown when I search for
computers near by, in that group. I can find it under
search, and then the computer tells that its member off an
unknown group. Is there other places then under the
system, that can make trouble.

kindly regards

Hi Henrik,

Workgroup names are case sensative and mist match EXACTLY on each machine. We see
this most often when there is a slight difference in the workgroup names on the machines.

Also you antivirus and firewall software will prevent seeing the other machines.

Thanks,
Gary
