MELL course viewer

This seems to be the best place to ask this question, but if not, please
point me to the correct group.

We have MELL (Microsoft eLearning Library) installed as a web server
application running against a SQL database for reporting. Everything is
appears to be installed correctly. Most of our computers can open the
courses, take the training and assessments and I can then see the results in
the results viewer.

Here is the problem. A couple of machines cannot open the course viewer. The
following error message is displayed: "Unable to initialize the viewer. If
you have installed the viewer to your computer, please re-run the Setup
program. If you are accessing the viewer from a server, please contact your
System Administrator. General Exception". One of these machines is mine,
and I can open the results viewer and view results with no problems, but
cannot open the course viewer. I have tried disabling all IE add-ins to see
if it was a possible conflict to no avail. I uninstalled the Flash player
software and reinstalled the version from the MELL server but got the same
errors. I even updated to IE 7 beta to test, but got the same error. I have
since put everything back to the way it was on my machine, but cannot find
any information to help with this error. There is not enought info in the
error message to track down what the problem is. Does anyone have any
thoughts or information that might help?

Thanks in advance.
