!! MEGA K-Lite Codec Pack (includes RealAlternative, apparently). !!

The FULL pack is totally awesome. Was hoping the MEGA is as good as
it sounds. It seems to include RealAlternative.

Anyone know anything about this one? Safe to use, etc. - any troubles
with it, or success stories?

YUP, WMP6 plays rmvb files just fine so far!! I dl and installed
anyway as I just was dying to play REAL and QUICKTIME movies. So with
the MEGA pack, these and things like WMV files not a problem (it
includes codecs for WMP 7, 8 and 9).

Also, it includes BSPlayer and G-SPOT _AND_ you can choose to install
each item you want, you don't have to install all of them at once at
all. And I've gone back to choose other items so it handles partial
installs, too, so that if you decide to add anything, you can.

Just some feedback. I was sooo pleased to find this. It's not small,
the mega pack, at 18 megs, but really well worth it.

Once you play Real, QT, WMV files plus all the AVIs and MPGs I've ever
had - with NO problems (so far, cross my fingers!!), it makes it a
must-have!

I had problems playing various AVI files on my system with WMP or
WinAmp and by following his advice, I can now play everything I have.

Since I found this mega codec, have been able to play aything on my
computer. It turns out that the Real format files give the best
sound/picture for the size than anything else, even WMV. I have some
large TV series' files that I can share but that I'd need to convert
to Real. Does anyone know how to do this?

The resulting files give a 20 meg vid of exceptional sound and picture
quality yet at such a small size. This way, a year's worth of eps.
can fit easily onto one CD.
