When I create a meeting request I can enter attendies in the TO field. My
question is if it's possible to copy someone on this meeting request that I
am creating.

The reason why, is because I would not want the person being copied
receiving an acceptance to the meeting request, but just get an email that I
am having a meeting with other people in our company detailing the info of
the meeting.

I just want to invite attendies, and copy the director of the department. So
he/she can see us attendies are having a meeting about a subject and
description, but he doesn't need to attend.

Thank you,
Hiram.

Some dumb things I can think of:
- copy/paste the info into a regular email
- add the director as a resource on the meeting or an optional attendee

"(e-mail address removed)"

When you are inviting the attendees, put the extra person in the "optional"
section. To do this, you would click the "TO" box and it pops up your
Contacts List. At the bottom it says Required, Optional, Resources.

Ashley;

I thought of using the "Optional" category - but that suggests to me that
the person has the option of attending or not.

What Hiram asked, and what I would like to know as well, is can you invite
some people to the meeting and have the meeting notification copied to other
people purely for their information.

In other words - can I add people to the meeting for information rather than
as required or optional attendees?
