I have a problem when I try to send a meeting requst from a PC running
Outlook 2000 sat on an exchange server to a user on Internet Mail also
running Outlook 2000.

I have seen many posts here saying untick the 'Reminder' button to get the
recipient to see a calendar message, but beleive me this does not work.

There is only one suggestion that I have seen that works, but it is a pain
in the Ar$e. And that is to Forward as iCalander from the Action menu, this
does work by creating a message. Its a pain because you have to save your
original calendar entry and then forward it onto someone using the 'Forward
as iCalander ' method. There is also an obvious problem with having to do
this:

- What if you are unaware of the recipients e-mail settings (ie. you don't
know if they are on Exchange or an Internet Only connection)

Please does anyone have any information on how to get around this problem.

TIA Tim

vCalendar/iCalendar is, in fact, the most universal way of sharing appointments, so it's the one most likely to succeed with any Calendar client, not just Outlook.
