Meeting request coming through as emails

I have a situation - I have an end user - who gets a meeting request and it
comes through as an email - not as the acceptance page that will add it to
your calendar immediately.

How can I resolve this problem?

Is that client connecting to Exchange as a POP3 or IMAP4 client, rather than
with the Exchange Server service? Normally, exchanging meeting requests
within an organization poses few problems.

Just because it's relatively painless, I'd try a new profile.
