Amy

I am getting this when I am receiving a meeting request:

When: Friday, March 26, 2004 9:00 AM-9:30 AM (GMT-08:00)
Pacific Time (US &
Canada); Tijuana.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

It comes as a simple text e-mail instead of a meeting
request. What can I do to fix this?

Jeff, what mail server are you both using -- Exchange or an Internet mail
server?

I am using XP so are they, Outlook 2003, so are they. It
is actually in the same office. We all use an Internet
mail server. Thanks!

Go to Tools | Options and under Calendar options, make sure the "use
iCalendar format" box at the bottom is checked.

It is. Any other things it might be?

.

I'd try testing the receipt of such a meeting request with Outlook Express,
which will let you see the entire raw message. That would give us a better
idea of whether the problem is with your copy of Outlook receiving it or
somewhere upstream, maybe in the server or the sender.

I am having the same problem. The only thing that my
colleagues have figured out is to type in the persons e-
mail address instead of selecting from the contact list.

Outlook version? Exchange version if you're using Exchange
