I need to update a meeting organizer. How do I do that without having to
start the meeting all over.

You can't - you need to regenerate the meeting for the new organizer.

Thanks Milly. Do you have any idea why you can't do this?

This seems like a good feature to develop as people do tend to leave
companies and change responsibilities. There seem to be a few other posts
under different subjects with the same issue.

No idea except that it is unsupported in current versions of Outlook.

Milly,

Is this something that Outlook Spy can help with? I am thinking there is or
are properties that can be changed to transfer ownership to the owner of the
calendar and away from the meeting organizer.

Not that I know of, the only way is to regenerate the meeting with a new
organizer.
