I setup a meeting in Outlook 2000 and invited few users.
One of the users forwarded the meeting request to someone
else and that user accepted the meeting and I recieved
the email response that meeting request was accepted.

I dont want meetings to be forwarded to non-invitees and
as such stop them from accepting meetings.

Does anyone have a clue to this issue?

Thanks

You can't stop this, but you can return the meeting acceptance and tell them
thas it is a closed meeting and since they were not on the original list,
they need not attend.

After a lot of head-scratching, Dean asked:

Oh, and this is one method I use to keep my home calendar in sync with work.

I cannot expect this function is unavailable in Outlook.

Even if the invitee forwards the meeting to a third
person. When the third person tries to accept the meeting
request. It should prompt with some kind of message
indicating this meeting request needs approval by Meeting
Organizer or you are not on original attendee list.

In short there should be an option during meeting setup
whether u would like this meeting to be forwarded by
invitees or not.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome
