MediaPlayer, converts, starts to copy, but freezes and...

MediaPlayer converts tracks, starts to copy, freezes at a
random place wilst copying, then tells me to cure the
problem by 'maybe reducing writing speed, this doesn't
make a shed of difference, do you know how many
recordable discs i've gone through!?!?!?! HELP ME
 
You might also want to disable your antivirus and/or
security software as this is known to cause problems with
recording. I don't know how it's connected but it worked
for me.
