Median function in pivot fields (summarize by)

I can't find the median function on pivot fields.

Does somebody know how to create a median function?

Is there a way to use "Calculate Formula" to create the
median?

What would be the formula to calculate median?
 
to the best of my knowledge, the information needed to calculate the median
is not available. the formula would need to build an array of the values
within the subsection of the pivot table. This information is not provided.
