MediaMonkey with "sort by date of file" capabiility?

Hi all,

I'm searching for a freeware music manager like MediaMonkey
(www.mediamonkey.com) that additionally is able to sort files by "date
of file", cause I often don't know which song I'm searching for, but
only which time (month and year) I added it to my collection.

Do you know such a software?

Itunes will do that; anything in the library (main or otherwise) can be
sorted by any of the fields, Artist, date, Album, etc.

FTR shut off any phoning home by Itunes via program settings or your
firewall, as it likes to do a lot of that. Free for personal use.

Also FTR I tried Media Monkey (hate the name) but returned to Itunes and it
is much easier to deal with.
