When I open WMP. an hour-glass appears and media player does not. My computer crashed the last time I was using media player and it has not worked since. I have restarted the computer to no avail I have not changed any settings this could span from downloaded music but. I have updated and scanned my computer for viruses and have found none. two weeks ago I had aquired 2 worm viruses I quirentined all infected files found and kept only that which I new may be relevant to my system. This action of deleting files had no immediate effect and i do not believe this is the root of my problem. As always any help from a Microsoft MVP is value
