Hi,
have two questions I would like to ask, for your help and advice.
I have just installed window vista 32 bit business, and everything seems to
have gone ok with a couple of exceptions.
First one is that window keeps looking for the ethernet driver, is this the
windows driver of the Mobo Driver?
Second is that I can play a movie on wmp but do not get any sound, yet if I
play a music CD I get sound ok
Would appreaciate any help and advice
Thanks and Regards
Bob

HI,

1) It's a network adapter or nic driver that the system is looking for. This
is best obtained from the manufacturer of the network card.

2) How about other sound files (not ones on disk)? Do they work? If so, then
you likely need a codec for the file type that isn't working. If none work,
then you probably need a sound card driver. The disks may play due to a
direct sound connection via cabling internally, bypassing the sound card.
