This must be a simple question for you bright guys, if i want to burn songs onto media-player i drag and drop they all go in with title and singer ,when the disc has done burning all i get is track numbers not artist very frustrating when i want to pick a title ,any ideas please ?? poundy

Is this on Windows Media player?
What version?

Sounds fairly normal to me, why would you want track title and track artist?

You could try ripping the CD back on your PC. That means copy the disk back look in the ripping options in the menus. Sometimes this brings back title artsit and song title, so when you replay in the SAME PC it will detect the information you requested for.

But I don't know how you can get that information to work on ANOTHER PC.

If you're burning a normal CD, that is, creating cda files on it, you won't have track information unless it's a known commercial CD and recognised by one of the online databases.
