Hi,
I understand that you want to stop Windows Media player from opening at
startup.
Please find the steps to disable the Windows Media player from starting:
1. Click Start, click Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks)
into the
Open box, and click OK.
2. Click Startup and uncheck the check box for Windows Media player. The
executable file for windows media player is wmplayer.exe.
3. Click on OK.
4. Restart the system and check if the Windows Media Player opens at start
up this time.
Thank you,
Rashmi
