Media Player Users Manual?

Is there such a thing as a users manual for MS Media Player? The "Help" files are there for piecemeal assistance but how about the overall operation? When I attempt what seems to be basic operations such as copying a CD with titles and artists it just doesent seem do do what I expect. And then how about trying to identify what has been copied into the music files? Obviously I do not understamd the basic concepts of operation of this great tool.
 
Actually the help utility is pretty complete,to copy from a cd,select just that
in the wmp sub column on the left.If you open tools,options,locate:search internet
for music info,wmp will get the info,also locate and select:connect to internet.
