I have all the latest drivers for everyting, and I've installed Klite CODEC
pack (2.81F). Just about every time I close an AVI, typically encoded with
XVID, the wmplayer process continues to run and play the audio for the movie,
until I manually kill it. Even stranger is that it continues to play it even
after I delete it and empty the Recycle Bin (no sharing violation error).
Any enlightenment on how to get the player to quit when asked would be
appreciated. Of course, I can simply remember to press Stop before closing
it, which doesn't really fix anything, but at least I don't have to listen to
it continuing to play.
