media player problems

While I am on the internet, my media player will not play videos that are
built into any website. Not even my own. It will play on my desk top with
media files I have in my computer. I have firefox and IE6, it will play in
neither. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck. I even
searched the registry and deleted all values of "windows media player". After
that I noticed that the memory of my playlists regenerated, so I had to of
missed some values. If this is a corrupted file I would like to know which
one and how to replace it. If someone could tell me what registry files I
need to delete before I reinstall that might me good to. This is getting old.

Well, last time I checked, "professional" implied "compensated," so you may
wish to rethink this if you want people to freely volunteer help!
