Media Player in PPT2000

How can I change the version of Media Player that PPT2000
looks for and opens to play an AVI movie?
I have Media Player version 5.0 and version 9.0. My AVIs
do not play with version 5.0 but they do with 9.0. When I
removed 5.0, hoping that PPT2000 would look for version
9.0, PPT2000 gives an error message:

"The server application, source file or item can't be
found, or returned an unknown error. You may need to
reinstall the server application."
