I've noticed that whenever Media Player switches to fullscreen mode, desktop
compositing gets turned off automatically (usually taking a couple of seconds
while it switches), and then switching back when I leave full screen. I don't
see a reason for this, especially since I often dual screen with one screen
where I chat/browse and one showing a fullscreen video, and the RAM usage
never gets too high that it can't handle it. And desktop compositing remains
on when the video isn't full screened. I have 1gig ram, Ati Radeon 9700 Pro
and an Athlon XP 2200+.
Is there a way to disable this?
