Media Player 9

Hi I am using windows media 8 I think. I wish to obtain media player 9 however I have so many music files on my computer will these be lossed when I delete windows media 8? Also is it possible for Microsoft to mail it on a disc as they do with service packs as I am unable to download it from the internet with my very slow connection.
 
hello,

you don't have to delete the windows 8 version, all you
do is download version 9 from the windows media player
website and after you run setup it will just update
itself. this way you won't lose any music files that you
had.
