media player 9 error

when i launch meida plater 9 i get this error.
"An internal application error has occured"
Thats it, i cant start meida player. I have tried
reinstalling but does nothing.

Re-install it on top of itself. What other soundware have you got installed
? Anything that could have altered or changed the codecs ?

Ensure that all sound and video drivers are up-dated (and Dx9b installed).
