I've been using Media Player 10 with Windows XP successfully for some time.
However, all of a sudden, I'm not hearing sound when playing .mp3 or .wav
files. I made no changes in my system that I know of that might cause this
problem. If I turn up the volume as high as possible, I can hear very faint
sounds, but something is obviously not working correctly.
I've tried going through the Windows troubleshooting routines, reinstalling
Media Player 10, and updating the driver for my sound card. None of these
made a difference.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this problem?
