love the product, runs great on pro and home........ but how long untill i
can run an extender on media center...... if the idea is to bring a pc into
the home as an entertainment device,(which media center does very well!!!!!)
why not allow it to recieve the same excellent protection....

From the release notes:

Potential issue with Windows Media Center Extender

There is an incompatibility between Windows AntiSpyware and Windows Media
Center Extender. If you install Windows AntiSpyware on a computer running
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, Windows Media Center Extender cannot
establish a remote connection. If you want to connect to a Windows Media
Center Edition 2005-based computer by using Windows Media Center Extender,
uninstall Windows AntiSpyware. For more information, see the KB article at
support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;892374

Can't answer the question. I can say that this issue is very high on the
developers lists of what to fix. It is the subject of the very first KB
article written about the beta, and is also very near and dear to Steve
Dodson's heart.

All that said, I don't think this will be fixed before beta2, and beta2 is
now estimated to arrive in the first half of calendar year 2006.
