is Xp Media Center Remote Control running Vista??? Please Answer...

Yes it does.
If you get the TV card installed and working, Vista will load the drivers for the remote.

| But does the MCE 2005 remote control work with the Vista version of Media
| Center?

I use a Hauppauge PVR500 (2 tuners) and a Hauppauge PVR150 (single tuner)
with Vista RC2 x64. I can record up to 3 streams or record 2 and watch
another the same time. MCE Remote Control can be used to control Vista Media
Center, Windows Media Player and some other standard applications (e.g. dvd
player).

regards,
Christian

Along th same line, I guess the MS IR Wireless MCE Edition keyboard should
work too then ?

Can anyone confirm ?

On the Vista DVD
Unplug the IR receiver
restart your computer
after computer completely loads, plug in receiver
Vista should detect receiver
If it asks for drivers, put your Vista DVD into the drive

| Where can I find the drivers?

Hi,
I have "Vista HomePremium" but can't seem to get the Microsoft Remote
Control to work....
Any idéa?

Good point! Sorry.
The thing is that the remote (Microsoft model 1039) and the IR-receiver
works; The lights in the remote starts when I push the buttons. When I point
at the IR-receiver and push the buttons the IR-receiver blinks "red". BUT...
Nothing happens in Vista / Media Center...

What to do...? Anyone?

Does it work in Media Player (not all keys do but stop/play etc do). Does it
change the volume with MP and MC closed. Open the volume control so you can
watch the volume move.
