Media Center recorded TV shows to DVD

I just purchased a new computer that came with Windows XP plus Media Center.
It does a great job recording the shows I want to view later, but I can't
see any way to burn them to a dvd for veiwing on other dvd players. They are
not readily available as video files.

Help would be apreciated.

If the movie industry has it's druthers, you will not be able to save a PC
recorded movie on a DVD or CD.
(DRM)
