I run windows xp and media 10.
The program seems to burn ok, nothing to suggest that there is a problem
during the burning process, ie converting etc. (I am using a CD_RW disc)
But, when I come to see what has been recorded, there is nothing!!!! At
all!!!!! Why is this? I have tried using different makes of CD but to no
avail.
(If it's of any consequence, the same thing happens when I try to copy
photo's to disc, nothing on the disc at all. although it's been done before!)

try using the hardware wizard to re-assign your CDRW or use the windows startup disk to repair MP 10....

Using CD-RWs is just like an additional harddrive. You can use Windows
Explorer and "drag&drop" or "copy&paste" to the disk. You should format
the disk first using a 3rd party program such as Nero or Roxio. These
programs
are also excellent to create data disks for MP3s but using CD-Rs, not RWs.
Below are programs better than WMP10 to create disks.
Audacity (sound file editor)

MediaMonkey Free MP3 Jukebox Player, Ripper, Music Library Organizer (3.8mb)
