Just got this game, and for some reason, when someone dies in the game,
there is a large white
blinking square that appears under the body when it falls to the ground.
I've tried to change quite
a few different video options within the game, and in windows. I didn't
have this problem with the
previous versions of Medal of Honor, just with the new Breakthrough
expansion pack.
I'm using the new 3.8 drivers. I even tried to go back to the older
drivers, but with the same results.

Anyone else having the same experience?

thanks

I don't have that problem but i do have a problem of stuttering whenever
enemies are generated. It's very annoying, they start shooting as soon as
they appear. I have 512mb of ram and this reminds me of when I went from
256 to 512mb with rtcw, I had the same stutter (hdd thrashing). I don't have
a lot of programs running when playing either.

I suspect the coding of the game is messed up a bit. Anyway, try going back
to the 3.7's, I;ve read a lot of issues came with the 3.8's.

Thanks for the reply. However, when I first got the game, I had 3.7's, I
had these issues
so I figured I would try the 3.8's and that might fix it, but it didn't. Oh
well, thanks anyway.

Yes, I also get the flashing white squares using a 9500 pro and cat 3.7, I
had hoped that the cat 3.8 would fix this issue.

I just read in the same string of the pc.games.action ng that this can be
caused by the mohaa bloodmod. Would have been a good idea to crosspost this
string I think.

The white boxes in BT are caused by the use of a blood mod that is
incompatible with BT. Suggest you remove the blood mod paks from your
mohaa\main and mohaa\mainta directories.

I have had the same problem with my 8500 and all drivers. I found that by
turning off "wall Decals" in video option the problem goes away. I still get
a white clip flying out of a machine gun in Breakthrough.
Hope this helps.
