Thanks V_R, I'm downloading this now. Again, I don't think it will work with an X850XT but I'll see what it does until I upgrade :)

Ohh thanks V_R

i'm gonna download it overnight :D

been waiting for this and the new brothers in arms for a while now!

I just hope it's better than the last one cos that was pants.

Pacific something or other, wasn't it? Absolute rubbish.

MOHAA lost their best programmers to Call Of Duty, who went on to write CoD3 only for consoles

Yep. I'm in one of those moods :D

PS: I just went to the Gamers Hell download link and noticed the Zen powered link is at 100%

That's cos Zen is good... :D

Just started playing this game,

everything is running very quickly and not in a good way .

the sounds are running into each other and the frame rate is fairly low yet the on screen action is moving fast. I jumped from the plane to the ground in about 3 seconds.

its probably my pc, i left it overnight so it may need a rest :D

Oh got everything working and wow

The animation and ambiance of the game are simply unreal! A demo that is well worth playing; you can tell immediately that this is a medal of honor game, and it is a huge improvement over the pacific one.

:D

i'm off to jump again and see where i'll land next time!

Yes this looks good, bit like CoD2.

Mike, i did read this demo has a few issues with it, but i guess thats why its a demo and not the full game. Hopefully the full game will be great!

Release date is the 7th September. (Next Friday) I may get this if its as good as they say.... :)

The video card you are using is not supported!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The video card you are using is not supported!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why isn't my video card supported????
Does this game not like ATI Radeon X1500 cards?
Will I ever be able to play this game???

I've just tried this now... WOW! :D I think I'm going to be buying this one!

The graphics are superb!

I suspect you'll really like this Flops, and it will run great on that system you have.

Still not installed this, got it downloaded though.

Well, this has got me

Bloody thing won't run on my system, not even at lowest settings and resolution.

It stuttered through the intro, which took forever, and my mouse froze up, though eventually when it reached the menu I could navigate with the keyboard but each command took a full 20 seconds to register.

And when it went into the demo it froze.

And what is this aegia physX crap it's installed without me asking it too?

I'm wary of a game that needs software to run in much the same way I was wary of ATI cards because they needed Microsoft's Network software to run the ATI Control panel.

I also note from the Readme the game won't run in 64 Bit versions of XP & Vista.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, 163.44 which are, admittedly, Beta drivers but Bioshock and about twenty other Games work fine with them.

I also updated my X-Fi soundcard software, to a driver/console package dated July 2007.

I'm using the first system listed in my signature.

And to add insult to injury it's not listed in the Control Panel's list of programs I can uninstall so all I can do is delete the system folder and leave behind a lot of annoying registry entries.

As far as I'm concerned it's a total load of tosh

That's very, very strange Flops. I had it appear in my control panel to uninstall, and I have a similar setup to you except for the CPU.

It is really worth playing, perhaps a re-download from a new source and then another install. It should run fine on your PC, and the lack of uninstall icon makes me wonder if the install went pair shaped?

I did wonder about that myself after I posted.

Good call Ian, I shall re-download and re-install and we shall see.

I hope it does work ok cos from the feedback here it's looking like a good game.

Still the same.

I downloaded the demo again.

Re-installed it.

It showed up in the Add or Remove programs list.

Ran the game - extremely slow - it froze.

Then the game wasn't in the Add or Remove programs list.

Reinstalled the game, it showed in the list.

Uninstalled game and that Aegis PhysX thingie.

Deleted Electronic Arts folder from Program Files.

Decided to give this one a miss.

I can only think it may be the Nvidia Beta video drivers, V163.44. Official WQHL approved drivers are V162.18, I may try loading those on my other machine and trying the demo on that.

Works an absolute TREAT on my system at 1920x1200 with all of the eye candy :)

Cracking game, and the people move really realistically too (watch when in the briefing room)

Using the same download file I used previously:

On the second machine in my sig:

Uninstalled video drivers 163.44

Installed Video drivers 162.18

Installed the demo.

It's running perfectly at default settings and looks great :thumb:

So it looks as though the game doesn't like Nvidia's Beta drivers.

Note that during installation:

1) The demo will upgrade Microsoft Visual C+++ if neccessary.

2) It will install video component/software Ageis PhysX

3) It will reinstall DirectX 9c

You are not given a choice for these three items.
