I'm trying to figure out how much is my monthly internet data usage. I'm
considering getting Mobile broadband but need to know how much I use to
determine which is the best package size to get. Does Vista Home Premium
have any built in tools that keeps track of data usage?

Nope.

Googling for "broadband usage meter" should get you some good hits.

If you use gadgets there's one that keep a running total of your u/l and
d/l. The catch is it resets when you reboot.

You're going to be severely restricted by mobile broadband, whichever
package you choose; they're all pretty appalling in terms of usage
allowances [currently]. Videos will generally be a no-go.

A program from codebox.org.uk works for me. It's called bit meter, pretty
low on the resource usage, over all it has plenty of information you might
need.

Thanks Stincc!

I downloaded it and it works great on the first try! thank you! Very
helpful and exactly what I was looking for. And it was easy and only took a
few minutes.

THANKS A BUNCH!!!!!!
