People-H-8er

In the past few days there have been no less than three
people beat up the Microsoft MVP in this board when
asking for his assistance, by name. From the IP on this
post, you should easily figure out that I am not the MVP
in question nor am I an MVP.

When you beat up someone who is a volunteer, eventually
they will get tired of being beaten up. The MVP
organization may lose that person. Though that is not
this case in this instance, let's be nice.

I had a close friend who volunteered extensively for non-
profits until one day a non-profit's secretary asked me
about suing that volunteer because the volunteer forgot
to follow-up on why Dell failed to integrated a $39 CD-RW
upgrade and the volunteer failed to get the drive from
Dell. Of course, I ripped her a new one and both my
friend and I quit volunteering because of the liability
in this litiguous society.

So, here is the "golden rule":
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Point well made.
I sure appreciate the folk who help on these newsgroups. I think it's great
that they put in so much time to help others. I hope whoever did what you
said, stops such behaviour.
