Hello,
I have this exact same problem with my totally brand new custom built pc. I`m using a Sony 19" Monitor with it. Are you using a DVI-VGA converter? I was thinking that may be part of my problem.
I very much doubt that it`s at all hard drive related.
Anyway, just thought I`d let you know you`re not the only one! Anyone got any new ideas?
