I upgraded ME to XP and lost all of my programs. Can I
get them back if I don't have the disk to install them?

Hi,

No, you can't. You might poke around in the profiles to see if they are
still there under another user name. Check under C:\Documents and Settings.

I thought programs existed in C:\Program Files - not in the Users
folders.....

Hi Gordon,

They should, and the shortcuts Rusty is looking for may be under another
profile. If they are there, then he can copy them into the new profile or
the All Users program folders. What I was trying to point out is that if
Rusty upgraded, then the programs should still be there.
